We got into this business because of our sub-optimal personal experiences with contractors. They consistently failed to operate in a professional manner, they proved unresponsive, and had no concept of transparency. We established KIC Restoration with an eye towards professionalism, responsiveness and supreme transparency as an alternative to that kind of sub par business.

Professionalism

When we schedule an inspection, you will receive an exact time - not a 'nine to noon' window. We stay true to our commitments – period.

Responsiveness

Our clients constantly comment on our professionalism, attentiveness and supreme transparency. We don’t believe in the ‘nine to noon’ window; if we schedule a 9 AM water damage inspection, we will be there at 9 AM period. We stay true to our commitments – period. Expect to be impressed with our services and employees.

Transparency

All our work is based on standardized pricing established by the industry standard price list generated by Xactware. We do not make our money by marking up building material or other unethical practices. We will spare you the smoke and mirrors conversations associated with contractor vs. retail pricing.

As a veteran owned business, we take extreme pride in our “Veterans First” policy.
We tactically employ primarily vets and former service personnel. As a General Contractor (Lic# #984653) we are equipped to see your restoration project through from deconstruction to reconstruction.  We have Level 3 Xactimate estimators that are well equipped to quickly and accurately evaluate large loss and collaborate with your claims adjusters. Our leadership and field technicians have and maintain a myriad of water, fire restoration related IICRC certifications. We also have Goldmorr Mold Remediation Technicians and Master Technician on staff. We have earned our EPA Lead Abatement designation (RRP) in addition to our Asbestos Abatement designation (ASB). We are committed to pursuing additional certification associated with both lead and asbestos abatement in effort to ensure we remain well equipped to spearhead a wide range of emergency services unencumbered.

We back all qualifying restoration work with a (1) Year Workmanship Warranty. If your concern is remotely reasonable, we will take care of it at no charge. Manufacturer warranties associated with flooring and roofing range from 10 to 30 years. In some select cases, KIC Restoration will offer an extended Workmanship Warranty as part of our participation in program work (e.g., Innovation).

Insurance, Accounting & Licensing

This is where we really shine. We believe many middle market restoration contractors really struggle to stay on top of the licensing and insurance aspects associated with the insurance driven restoration field. This is not the case with KIC Restoration. Our internal accounting and legal departments are responsible for maintaining compliance with the applicable governing bodies while simultaneously ensuring the Company’s risk are prudently managed. These departments are led by Katherine Goforth, CPA and Christopher Marshall, JD. KIC Restoration pays hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in insurance premiums in an effort to protect our property owners, our insurance carrier partners and the Company itself. You can count on the fact that the administration aspects of the business are airtight.

The bigger we get, the smaller we act. When you sign on with KIC Restoration as a client, you receive a new client packet which includes our W9, Certificate of Liability, proposed construction schedule as well as the contact info for our entire management team. If you have a problem, it is not hard to get a hold of an owner – Jason furnish this information because he cares deeply about his clients. Jason remain keen on growing KIC Restoration to no greater than four million dollars a year in gross revenues. Reining in additional growth may in some ways appear counterintuitive, however, this strategy exists to ensure that our commitments to our existing clients and partners our honored – these parties have to come to expect a level of service that is not possible beyond the four million dollar mark.
